Dear DC Comics,
You know I love comics alot, especially yours. So do my brother and sister. It’s really hard waiting a month between issues, though. My Mom says it’s how the business works so “Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”
But we’re starting to get pretty angry cause many of the stories aren’t even being told in order anymore! My brother Mike reads this “Jack of Fables” book that had a two-part story split with a different story in between the first and second part! He taught me a bunch of new words Mom says I’m not allow to say until I move out.
And my sister Sally loooooooves Wonder Woman (she says her boyfriend makes her dress up in the costume ALL the time) but she was really mad when she heard that the last chapter of the current five-part story was going to be delayed until, well, no one knows, I guess.
I was really digging the new Superman story in Action Comics and now it will be split up with a differnet story in between chapters, even after waiting extra time since the second part came out! It makes me wonder if you guys even know what the f**k you’re doing anymore.
(Oops. That’s one of those words my Mom told me not use. Please don’t tell.)
Your pal,
Timmy

Ooookay, I mean… I know that the bigger comic companies have some major continuity problems (Marvel happly pretending they don’t exist while DC tries vainly to claim it’s a part of the story)
Buuuuut…
When the continuity problem is that you can’t get a two part story out in sequential order it’s a sign you have a major problem.
Now, I understand that stuff happens. Maybe that six part storyline sounded awesome when it started, but suddenly the ending sounds pointless and cliche and you desperatly need the extra time some extra time to rewrite it into something good. That’s the writer’s fault, but everybody makes mistakes, the idea is to learn from them.
But to have multiple comics showing this problem is a bad sign. Are the writers quitting half way through a story? Bad planning? No planning? What’s going on?
Beyond the result of annoyied fans, and an unproffessional appearance, of course.
Sounds to me like a bad habit to be taking up. And I’m not just talking about Timmy’s language.
